We run lessons suited to recently rescued/rehomed dogs and dogs who have developed specific problems.  The lessons last one hour and will give you all you need to have a happy and relaxed dog, who will do all you ask because he/she wants to and not through force or fear. This includes the basics of sit, lie down, stay, walking to heel and recall.  It is all achieved gently and easily, with no force or shouting.

The aim of all the training is to ensure that your dog respects you as his or her pack leader and wants to have a two way relationship with you.

Once the basics are in place you and your dog can progress to the appropriate Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme Award if you so wish.

Class times are 8.30pm to 9.30pm on Thursdays.

There is half an hour (9.30pm to 10.00pm) for individual training for anyone who requires that extra bit. This session is only done by prior arrangement and costs £10.00 per session

You will need to bring your puppy on an ordinary collar and ordinary lead. Harnesses and extending leads are not suitable.   In addition please bring some delicious SOFT treats as rewards for getting it right. I find chicken, cheese or sausage cut into half centimetre pieces is ideal. At the end of each lesson you will be given handouts that cover everything taught during the session.
